Dear Church Family,

If you ever ask an ordained pastor about their journey into the ministry, chances are a camp or some type of retreat ministry will come up in the discussion. Summer camping ministries were certainly a significant part of my call, and statistically I am not alone. Spending time away from the world on a retreat with others and focusing on God in community can play a tremendous part in anyone’s spiritual journey, particularly in our younger years.
